Bats
Bats can be identified using visual and audio clues. To identify
a bat to species level you will often need to
use a combination of both types of clue. Visual clues include size,
shape, flight pattern and where the bats
are found (e.g. habitat). To hear audio clues you will need to use
a bat detector in order to bring the bat’s echolocation calls
within the audible range.
